Fake cover / Portada falsa

Para mi libro Ovni, guía de supervivencia (Berenice, 2011), no sólo realice el texto, diseño e ilustraciones interiores sino que también me atreví a esbozar esta versión para la portada que intentaba, de alguna forma, homenajear las viejas novelas populares de ciencia-ficción y de paso hacer un guiño a mis historietas para la revista de cómics "Killer Toons". Lógicamente, el libro se publicó de acuerdo con la línea editorial y según las pautas de otros insertos en la misma colección. 

For my book  Ovni, guía de supervivencia  (Berenice, 2011), I do not only the text and inside drawings but I also tried the bellow version which is a tribute, in a certain way,  to old popular sci-fi pulps and also make a nod to my comics for the magazine "Killer Toons". Obviously, the book was finally published according to the editorial line and in the same style liike others of this collection.
